Are You Saved

ARE YOU SAVED?
Decisions....Decisions!

...You may find yourself thinking:

What's the Big Deal? I have my whole life ahead of me! I don't want to get saved "now"...Church is boring...Serving God means I won't be able to do the stuff I want to do...There's too many rules you have to live by...I wouldn't be able to do what God wants me to anyhow! You only live once, so why not make the most of it, and experience everything you can? My friends will think it's lame if I become a Christian...They'll poke fun at me...They'll think I'm weird...Besides, I'm too bad for God to accept me as I am now. (I have too many bad habits, behaviors) I need to change first. It's not that I don't think God is important; I just don't know if it's for me...

Being "Saved" means having a personal relationship with God. It means these three things:

(1) Asking God to forgive your sins (with true repentence.)

(2) Believing that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He died on the cross for your sins...

(3) Committing all of yourself unto God...Asking him to have control of your life.

For every excuse you can think of, to say "NO" to God --- The Bible says otherwise...

I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6: 2b (NIV)

...don't delay.

The LORD rewards every man for his righteousness and faithfulness. 1 Samuel 26: 23a (NIV)

...don't you want to find favor within God's eyes?

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest...For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28,30 (NIV)

...Serving God isn't so hard as you may think. He's not going to ask you to do something he won't enable you to do.

Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 (NIV)

...What's more important - To please your friends? Or to please God?

As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;" Romans 3:10 (NIV)

...you don't need to be perfect. (Just willing)...There's no such thing as the "Perfect Christian", so why waste your time "comparing" yourself to somebody else? God wants you just as you are! (now)

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9a

...It's not in our strength, or through our own ability, that we serve God. It's through His Grace.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5 (NIV)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV)

...Jesus loves "you".

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

...God has wonderful things planned for your life. He's only waiting for you to live it!!! (You think you're living now?!?!?? You haven't seen nothing yet!!!)
